STAY AWAY! My dog Chance died today at this kennel;. He was an 80 degree day and according to the kennel owners the dogs were able to walk from outside to inside the kennel. Upon arriving to the kennel, the owner was not there, even though we tried to reach by phone twice before showing up and the person at the kennel when we arrived was not aware that Chance was still there. But then said, "Oh, they fed Chance this morning." According to this person, the door was not open to allow the Chance entrance inside. Chance was 16 years old and the sun and heat were more severe on him of course, which is why we went with this kennel that allowed for the dogs to get inside. They do not know when Chance died, but it's 4:30 p.m. and they have not checked on him since morning. As there is basically no legal remedy for this and this kennel will likely remain open, I just want to scream from the rooftops, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! view short comment
