Dog Boarding Facilities in Nevada

I board my dogs at big dogs all the time. They do a wonderful job with my dogs and groom them before I pick them up. The owners son is very patient with the dogs and makes them comfortable. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

I had a way differnt experience the second time taking my pup too jakes. I called two weeks ahead of time, to reserve a kennel for him. I drove from California to NV, arrived at 12pm and the gate was locked, this was Friday, I called the number over and over and no one anwser. I drove from California to NV, arrived at 12pm and the gate was locked, this was Friday, I called the number over and over and no one anwser. I then had to drive him around for two hours till they called me back. They said they went to las vegas for suppies. I was then told it was ok to drop him off. So I went back there and had to call again,cause the gate was still locked. I called twice then I young man, (maybe the owners son or the helper came and let us in) we went in and the guy was shaking bad. I handed him my dogs shot records and he just held them and staired at them. The first time I was there the older guy took copys. When I picked up my baby pup on Sunday, he was soaked from head to toe top to bottom with pee so was his toys, his nails were grinded to almost the wicks from trying to dig out. We told the guy we would be there at 330 to pick him up and we had to call and call for 30 before someone would let me past the gate to get my dog. I found out that they pretty much just go to the shop to feed the dogs in the morning then they leave till next feeding. You would think that a dog grooming place and kennel would have someone there at least during normal hours. view short comment

I took my puppy to jakes a month ago while I was visiting my inlaws. I was extreamly happy with the service and how clean the dog runs were. Jake is very friendly! I had my puppy in a differnt dog place for a few hours before I found jakes it was horriable. The place promise to put my dog in ba run and never did they kept him locked in a dog create. I took my puppy to jakes a month ago while I was visiting my inlaws. I was extreamly happy with the service and how clean the dog runs were. Jake is very friendly! I had my puppy in a differnt dog place for a few hours before I found jakes it was horriable. The place promise to put my dog in ba run and never did they kept him locked in a dog create. And the house was nasty. My heart told me not to leave him there but I was having trouble finding a place that was open on sundays. When I found jakes I hurryed and picked up my pup and moved him there. I was then so comfortable and knew my baby was safe for the weekend. I actually cryed for three hours till I found jakes big dogs. Thank u so much. view short comment

While visiting Pahrump, my Shih Tzu was in desperate need of a bath and hair cut. I walked into a clean grooming salon with a clear view of the tubs, tables and crates. I was greeted by a kind, gentle man who my dog instantly liked. Jake did a great job. The price was reasonable. As a retired Vet Tech, I highly recommend Jakes Big Dogs!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I had arranged to board my dog for 6 days, having spoken to the facility numerous times in person and on the phone. I confirmed with the kennel that I would be dropping off my dog and advised the owner that I would be there at 8:00am the following day. I confirmed with the kennel that I would be dropping off my dog and advised the owner that I would be there at 8:00am the following day. They failed to answer teh phone when I arrived, the gate was locked, and my 5 phone calls were ignored. These people caused me to miss a flight out of town and have created an incredible hardship on me with their unprofessional and unethical actions. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! view short comment
