Do not let the 5 star reviews fool you. They seem to be written by the same author. Spelling and syntax We left our two dogs for exactly six days and were charged for 7. We had to leave on short notice. She is close so we decided to leave the dogs with her. I was uncomfortable with her and the place after arriving to drop the dogs off. She gushed over the dogs a little to much. We returned on a Sunday morning and I called to pick them up. I couldn't, she said she was closed although the website says she is open on Sundays and closed only on Saturday. She said she will be open Monday morning. I went there Monday morning about 10.30 and it was closed and no one answered the door or phone. I left a message on the phone. I got a call explaining that she is only open from 8 to 10 in the morning and I believe 3 to 5 or something like that in the afternoon. Those hours are contrary to her posted hours on the website. So I was there Monday morning and had to return home. I got there in the afternoon and she was there. My poddle had been groomed and had some bald spots on him, one which was obvious. She explained it that our other dog must have pulled the hair out. No, the hair was still there, just cut about an 1/8 long. I often wonder why people cover up mistakes with the most outlandish excused possible. In any case I called her back and explained that we dropped them off on Tuesday morning and tried to pick them up on Monday morning but couldn't because she wasn't there. So we should only have to pay for 6 days , not 7 days. Turns out according to her math that had we picked him up on Monday morning she would have charged for a half day. But because we picked them up that afternoon we got charged for a full day. Now that I know we should have been able to pick them up on Sunday because she is open, I am more disgusted than ever. Point is she will hold your dogs to get the extra money. She could of had us as regular customers for both of our dogs have to be groomed. But because she overcharged us for $40 and won't admit her mistake, she gives up how much money in the future? Oh yes, our little poodle also ended up with "kennel cough". So that was another $73 bet bill. My recommendation is to stay away. As for the glowing reviews you see here, I have a strong feeling that she and her friends are the authors to cover up for the bad ones. Actually happens a lot. One sign of self written reviews is that there are a disproportionate amount of 5 stars reviews. The reality may well be that most people are disatisfied. view short comment

We have been taking our dogs and cats to stay with Barb at the Deja vu Kennels in Milton, VT for the last five or six years and have been extremely pleased. After trying several kennels that were closer to our house, we were thrilled and relieved to finally find a kennel and owner in which we have total confidence. Our pet “children” often had chronic health and behavioral problems as ... view full comment

We have been taking our dogs and cats to stay with Barb at the Deja vu Kennels in Milton, VT for the last five or six years and have been extremely pleased. After trying several kennels that were closer to our house, we were thrilled and relieved to finally find a kennel and owner in which we have total confidence. Our pet “children” often had chronic health and behavioral problems as most were “rescue” pets. Over the last several years, our pets have enjoyed a clean, safe, and comfortable stay out in the country with Barb and her staff. They have consistently been extremely accommodating with all of our travel plans and other boarding needs. view short comment

Beware. At first the owner is really nice. But she has a bad temper and she takes it out on customers. I really liked her until she lost her temper today and tried to rip my dogs from my husband which resulted in one of my dogs choking. She tried to release my other dog's leash knowing she would possible run off into the road. She did it because we owed her money for daycare for the week. To act l... view full comment

Wouldn't let the facility take care of a stuffed animal, to say nothing of a living pet!
