I have been bringing my dog and cat to the Shaggy Dog Kennel for three years now, and my pets and I are extremely pleased. I have used many kennels over my life and I have finally found one I can trust fully. Shelly and her staff are wonderfull with my animals and are extremely friendly and thorough. My dog loves to play in the doggy daycare, where he gets his energy out before I pick him up. The kennels are very roomy so my animals are not all cooped up like other kennels I have seen. I definitely recommend the Shaggy Dog Kennel and if you are on the fence about them, go down and take a tour. They will give you all the information you need to know. view short comment

My second dog, the one that should be stressed by all things, has never shown problems in his five years of boarding with the kennel. What has changed? I'm sorry, I can't continue to gamble with the health of my dogs. The owner says it must be something to do with the dog... which is by extension, my responsibility. Therefore, I will not leave my dog in the care of The Shaggy Dog Kennel ever again. The owner, a dog handler herself, must understand this fact. I'm sorry to have to put this review in, however, I believe it's imperative others are allowed to make informed decisions for themselves. Something has changed. I'm told nothing has changed. I believe the behavior of my dogs over the strange rush of explanations by the owner. view short comment
