Dog Boarding Facilities in Alaska

NEVER AGAIN. Boarded our two dogs for two days. Basically kept penned up for two days with minimal exercise. Had to wash their blankets because they made them poop in the pen. Promised lots of exercise and play time. I'm pretty upset with them.

Chelsea's is by far the best and this rating comes from our dog Hailey who has stayed there numerous times.She loves the place so much she drags us by her leash to the front door.She has always had excellent care there and we are relieved that when we are away we know she is in such caring hands as those of Lynn and Chelsea.

i dont know who the person is that said that lynn is crule to animals but i know that she is not becouse i now lynn personally and she takes care of the animals verry well that she boards and i have known her for years

Chelsea's Pet Resort is not only for dogs and cats, but various other pets including horses. Lynn, the owner, played a major role in helping transport my Morgan mare from Missouri to Seattle. Lynn is so knowledgeable and attentive to details regarding transporting horses. I felt so safe and secure knowing she was managing all aspects of the trip. Her many years of knowledge and concern for animals was such a value to me. She transported my 2yo Arab stud colt years ago and again this last summer with my Morgan mare. You cannot find a better person with the knowledge, experience and proper vehicles to transport your horse to and from the "Lower 48" than Lynn at Chelsea's Pet Resort. Alaska is very lucky to have the services that Lynn offers! And please remember folks, when Lynn is not onsite at the kennel her daughter, Chelsea, husband Michael and other staff members are always there taking the best care of the animals at Chelsea's Pet Resort. I took my 15 year old dog out there and he did just fine. They gave me a full report about how he had to adjust the first couple of days, and then had a blast. He'll be going back out there again. The grounds are beautiful and it doesn't stink.

We've been using Chelsea's for nearly 20 years, boarding various dogs during family vacations. This year we tried the grooming services. Very impressed. Our dogs are always well cared for and we trust Lynn and her staff completely.

NEVER USE THIS PLACE, picked my dog up after 11 days, was emaciated - hip bones sticking out, dehydrated to the point skin was standing up on its own, terrible smell, and owner of business states "oh yeah he looked liked he was melting away" - I will be reporting to animal cruelty charges
