Dog Boarding Facilities in North Carolina

I use this kennel for my dog because my vet recommended them and my dog did really well. The place is immaculate and while there is no TV or storytime for the dog the animal is well cared for.

I brought my dog to Rippling Water for a day while my friends and I paddled the Nantahala River. Although the owner seemed a bit rude because of his lack of engaging in any sort of conversation with me, I didn't worry about it. Although the owner seemed a bit rude because of his lack of engaging in any sort of conversation with me, I didn't worry about it. When I picked her up, she was bouncing off the walls - still had a ton of energy. The owner was in a hurry to get me out of there - just pointed to her leash and her bag of food and turned around to walk out. When I asked if she had played with any other dogs, he replied that she stayed in her run all day. The runs were about 15-20 feet long. There's no way she got the exercise that she needed. When I take my dog to a kennel, I expect them to interact with other dogs and to get adequate exercise - not be left in the runs while the people who run the place sit around at home. In short, the management is rude, and they don't take care of the dogs in their kennel. I won't be bringing my dog back here. view short comment
