Dog Boarding Facilities in Ohio

Our dog Mocha is treated like one of the family there. We board him on a regular basis (they groom him too). You can tell he likes Oakwood Kennel because he always goes with the ladies without the slightest bit of hesitation.

Love Oakwood kennels! The staff are great with our dog! Would not board her any where else!

I have been grooming/boarding my dogs with Oakwood Kennels since 1996 and would not go anywhere else. My dogs walk up to the door as if it were their second home...Julie treats my dogs as if they were her own...I am worry free when we leave them in her care

I searched Kennels in Mount Vernon, & after doing my homework, found that Oakwood Kennel was my choice after reading reviews of all the other kennels nearby... Never had to board our dog until I had a lengthy hospital stay last year. Oakwood was perfect and he was very well cared for.We love the quiet country setting, cleanliness, and friendly staff. Now while we vacation, Taz enjoys Oakwood.

I had never left my 10 year old Jack Russell anywhere away from home before, & I was really nervous, but after visiting Oakwood Kennel & meeting the owner personally, I had no doubts at all that my dog would be in good hands.. (She smelled & looked amazing) The facility was SUPER clean, the nicest I had seen out of all the other local places I had visited before I made my final decision of where the best place was to leave her... Great pet hotel, if you want peace of mind, save yourself the headache of looking elsewhere, this is the place to take your dog/cat... I have been going to oakwood since my yorkie was 4 months old and she is now eight. I have used the grooming, training and boarding services and can not speak highly enough about the cleanliness and professionalism of this business. I would not take my dog anyplace else. The staff are always very helpful and kind to my little dog.
