Spa Paw & Tail is by far the best pet boarding facility I've ever used for my dogs. The staff is highly knowledgeable, but more importantly, they really care about animals, and they go way above and beyond the call of duty. For example, they've been known to hand feed my senior dog since he's unsteady on his feet and has lost most his teeth. With all the extras they offer through their packages, the value is excellent compared to other places that nickle and dime you for every little thing. I have a 7yr old golden retriever, and a 3 yr. old cat that I had to board as my daughter was getting married out of town. Neither pet had ever been boarded. After having them there for the 4 days, I trust them to take of my pets. The are very kind and seem to just know how to handle them. Best in the area. I started there with my rescue dog, a difficult pet to say the least. They called it right, and placed her in the senior lounge. They tried grooming, but she went ballistic. I brought her back a second time for grooming, a complete shave down and they managed to do the job with her muzzled (lots of unknowns with a rescue dog, but the dog actually liked the muzzle). I brought her back a second time for grooming, a complete shave down and they managed to do the job with her muzzled (lots of unknowns with a rescue dog, but the dog actually liked the muzzle). I still can't figure out how they shaved her face without the muzzle, but they did a fabulous job!! My rescue dog has since died and we got a new puppy. The puppy LOVES Spa Paw and Tail and has become a very social animal because of his time there. He has fun, fun, fun there and loves all the other dogs, big and small and especially loves the staff. I was so anxious about leaving our 8 year old Yellow Lab at a boarding facility - we had never boarded her since our move to the Milwaukee area and had no experience with any facility. She is an active senior dog, but a senior nonetheless. I am so grateful to have found Spa Paw & Tail Premier Pet Resort. My anxiousness totally melted away when we walked in the front door - everyone was so gracious and helpful and so genuine towards all of the dogs there. Nina, the owner, answered all of our questions, and was extremely helpful and patient with a couple of anxious "puppy parents". We boarded our "baby" with Spa Paw & Tail for a week, and checked in every day while we were out of town - the thoroughness of the reports was fantastic, and we felt so good after every check-in - that kind of peace of mind, knowing your dog is well cared for, adjusting well to a new environment, and safe, is priceless. The facility is new and clean and spacious, and the amenities and attention to every individual dog are just great. I would highly recommend Spa Paw & Tail as a boarding facility to any dog owner - we will definitely use them again when we need to board our Blue! view short comment

We have four dogs, including one that was attacked by another dog as a puppy and is now very shy of other non-family dogs. They ALL love Spa Paw & Tail, and so do we. The "shy one" really comes out of her shell and plays like a freak when she is there. It is the perfect place to have them vacation and know they are well cared for and safe.

Nina and staff treated our 18-year old senior dog with such compassion and care. Windy loved the seniors lounge and was able to chill and socialize with other older dogs. We have since lost our senior, but have continued boarding our newly adopted dog, who enjoys socializing and playing in the small dog area. The entire staff truly loves the animals! We will not go anyplace else!
